How to have a Sane Holiday Season: Set a Boundary, Lose a “Friend”

Setting & maintaining healthy boundaries is crucial to your mental health & wellbeing.

However, manipulators and gaslighters don’t like it when you set boundaries… it messes with the system they have in place… the one where they take advantage of you, your kindness, your empathetic nature, all for their own gain or pleasure.

But, you know what they say about bully’s… the only way to disempower them is to stand up to them. And the easiest, non-violent way to stand up to them is to establish clear, healthy boundaries.

Boundaries make clear what IS and IS NOT acceptable behavior. Once that is clear, you can easily recognize when a boundary has been crossed.

When a boundary is crossed, speak your truth, hold your ground, disengage and refuse to support bad behavior.
